Post & Telecommunications |
- The Central Post Office, located at the corner of Bo Aung Kyaw Street and Strand Road in Yangon is open from 9:30am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday.
International calls, telexes and faxes can be made at the Central Telegraph Office, 125 Pansodan Street, Yangon, or at the business centers of major hotels within he country. IDD telephones are available at some government offices, businesses and hotels.
Email can be sent from internet cafe in most tourist destinations.

Office Hours |
- Government and business offices: Monday - Friday from 9:30am to 4:30pm
- Shops: Usually from Monday - Sunday from 10am or 8pm, but major departments stores or markets open only until 5pm

Driving |
An International Driving License/Permit is required if you plan to drive within Myanmar. However, this must first be presented to the Police Department for endorsement, or in the case of a visitor's license, for insurance.
